More about Mills & hiring:

When in person, we are a resource library, an event space, and a lounge space for students to come to hang out, meet new people, relax, and study. Our resource library includes travel guides from all over the world, magazines in different languages, international cookbooks, international music, and games. Our space is reservable by other groups for events such as student group meetings, receptions, and movie nights.
It is the detailed, responsible, focused, creative, reliable, and accurate work of Mills student staff that makes these things happen. We are all here to give our best in serving UO students. We have high expectations of our staff. And we offer high support, with lots of training and ongoing professional development.
Achieving our mission begins with how we build our team and work together. We are better able to leverage the collective power of our teams to serve UO students by bringing together a team of people of different origins, beliefs, backgrounds, and ways of thinking. We actively seek out diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and skills so that we can be collectively stronger and meet our mission. The Mills Center strives for a humane and productive work environment for all staff, where staff feels respected and connected, that their perspective is valued, that they can learn from mistakes, that they share responsibility for fostering the Mills community, and that they contribute to the work of the Mills.
The Mills Center encourages all qualified individuals to apply. If you have a question about your qualifications or application, please contact us at mills@uoregon.edu.
